The grass in the big drains of our area in Kg Baru, Seria has not been cut or cleared for almost three years. The grass is so long now with a lot of rubbish also in the vicinity.
?Lost? drains: More city incompetence
The incompetency at city hall never ceases to amaze me. Surely they must have maps of their underground sewers, as they have to know where they are and all catch basins lead to a sewer. As for the amalgamated municipalities, much of the information each had has been lost, misplaced or misfiled by the new city. Just more bumbling by inept municipal employees on elementary information storage.
Clean gutters annually to avoid clogs in pop-up drains
Q. I had a contractor install pop-up gutter drains. They were supposed to be dug 10 feet out. He only did this for one at the back of the house. The other three are only 4 to 5 feet out. I wasn't aware of this and wouldn't have realized this wasn't proper. I am now convinced that this is the reason that the gutters at the front overflow. Am I right?
